Help Volume controls

Is there a hidden volume control somewhere that I am not finding? When I first got my Razr the speaker phone volume, startup animation, and even when I pressed the keys to dial a number were very loud. Now all of those things are very low volume. I have the In-Call volume turned all the way up when using the speaker phone and if I go to settings, sounds, volume... all of those are turned to max. Is there something I am missing here?
 
James, im in the same exact boat. Im a bit alarmed at how quiet the boot animation sound is. Possible defect? And yes, ive adjusted the settings and volume rocker. Any info would be great, thanks!
 
I went by the Verizon store today and played with two different demo models they had on display. Both demo phones had the same low volume for the speakerphone. I guess this is normal.. man my iPhone 4S speaker blows the Razr away! My old Droid X had a really loud speaker too... I will miss that. :(

At least the volume is very good when using the earpiece.
