Help Volume keeps defaulting to "Off"/"Silent"

I have a new LG Spirit on the way, but when I woke up this AM, I noticed that I didn't charge my battery on my LG Motion and it ran down overnight.

I have since charged the battery fully, but the Volume keeps defaulting to Off/Silent.

Volume works with Notifications and Headphones, but no Ringer - it keeps defaulting to "Silent"/"Off"

If I pull down the Notification Bar and Press the "Sound" icon, it stays on for a second, but once the phone fully boots up, it defaults back to "Silent"

Going into "Settings" > Sound > Sound Profile and selecting the "Sound" radio button, it it defaults back to Silent.

I have turned the phone off, removed the battery for several minutes, rebooted the phone, but the same thing happens.

I plan to sell this phone soon, but need to have the Volume functional in order to do so and to use it until my LG Spirit arrives from Wirefly next week.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Other than backing up everything and doing a Factory Restore, is there anything else I can try?

Looks like you did everything you could do and a factory reset is all that is left.

Make sure you don't have quiet time turned on. Its under sound settings

I had to do a Factory Restore. No big deal - my LG Spirit is due to arrive Monday.

Mine does the same thing, but it defaults to vibrate. I reboot the phone and that seems to fix it for a few days...then it happens again. This occurs at all time of the day or night, so it's not a quiet time issue.

Somehow I was just turning down the volume on my Spirit all the way.

You set all your volumes. Then, if you accidentally or on purpose somehow change the volume it throws up a pop up screen (or on the taskbar) that basically says, "Hey! Did you really mean to do this?!" Do nothing and it reverts back to your locked in volumes. Hit, yes change and you can.

I apparently hit my volume rocker lots of times when I don't mean to.

Carrying the phone upside down (logo Down) keeps the rocker further away from my hand.
