Help Volume on samsung galaxy centura not working

I droped my samsung galaxy centura out of my pocket and the volume does not work.it only vibrates. It wont ring or any thing.went into the settings and got avery thing as loud as it will go.But still dosnt work?

Hi

Does the earphone socket still work? (with earphones) If so, then its probably the speaker or the connections to it which are damaged. It may be repairable. If there is no sound singnal to the socket either, its probably more serious.

Have you rebooted it?

Hi

By reboot, I just meant turn it off, take the battery out for a minute and put it back and restart. You are thinking of a factory reset! That may help but I'm not sure... If you do try a reset:

Best thing with pictures is to sync them with dropbox or google drive (both might take a while on wifi depending on how many you have) before you do it. Contacts will be saved automagically so long as the are google (not phone or SIM) contacts.
