Root Volume questions

Newbie
I have tried several different ROM's and most have the same problem, ringtone and notification volume is very low. I tried Monster 5.3 and that was different, the volume was actually quite good. Was wondering if anyone has an idea what the difference is and if the settings from Monster could be brought to another ROM. Today I am trying Killah_Bean, nice enough ROM but again the ringtone and notification volume is very low. Might try Stock ++ next.
 
Monster 5.3 includes Beats Audio into the rom, the other roms you tried dont so they just have stock sound levels
 
I tried adding Beats from a zip I downloaded (Beatsaudiob0314.zip), did not make a difference. I am inclined to believe there is something else, could be wrong but if the only difference is supposed to be Beats audio then there is definitely something different.

I tried adding Beats from different sources, apparently the zip did not actually do anything.
After several tries it actually installed and did something. Cool. Thanks.

Nah there's nothing else. Just install monster 5.3 if you want louder volume. Where did you download the zip anyways?
