Help Volume Rocker: Is there a way to disable it from adjusting ring volume?

Hey everyone. One major complaint I've had is the volume rocker adjusting the ringtone/notification volume and more importantly accidentaly switching between silent/vibrate with one touch. Is there a way to disable the adjustment of this with the volume rocker? This was an option on the iPhone. From searching the forums and the phone it doesn't seem like it but it's so annoying I want to make sure.

I used an app in the past called Volume Locker that made you confirm a volume change within 30 seconds in order for it to take effect. It doesn't do exactly what you are asking, but will prevent accidental volume changes.
