I just got my galaxy s3 phone a couple of weeks ago and I can't figure this out.
When I am listening to podcasts or music, the phone volume will lower itself down to 0 at random intervals. At times this happens 10 times per minute, other times, I will get no interruptions for several minutes. I don't know if this is related but I am using headphones when this happens..
I have observed this with the phone flat on a table without touching it, so I am not accidentally pressing the volume button down.
I checked the volume settings and can see nothing wrong there.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a fix?
