Help Volume Side Keys

The volume side keys work fine up until the point I play a game and adjust the media volume. From that point on, when I am at the home screen, the side keys control media instead of ringer volume. The only way to fix this is to reboot. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Sounds like the game is still running in the background.Make sure your exiting the game correctly.Check your Menu/settings/Applications/Running apps after closing the game to be sure its not still running,If it is select it on that screen and stop it.Go home and see if your ringer volume works now.

my wife had the same problem. it is infact a game or application that is not fully shutting down. it turns out that it was the app itself, and not how she was exiting out of it...

luckily i figured that out before it became my fault for upgrading her inspire, some phone that now had issues
