Volume up in Text Messages will increase font size

I haven't seen Samsung document this anywhere and I just figured it out myself: if you press volume up or down while in the text messaging app, it will increase and decrease the font size.

Maybe common knowledge, but I've never thought of changing the volume on a text message, so I found it accidentally. Not sure how useful it is, since you'll probably want to keep the same zoom level 99.999% of the time, but still kinda cool.

That's got to be something with the stock Messaging app, because it doesn't work in any other messaging app including the Kit Kat one I installed from Play.

I found this out by accident. Pretty cool!

I found it very annoying as mine started out with very big text until I learned how to turn that off

I found this out like within the first week of having the Note 3. By accident of course lol. It seems I press the volume button a lot so to me it's a bit if an annoying feature. Didn't know how or if it could be turned off. Do now, thanks Simon.
