volume

they sure do. there is a free version in play store. that wont solve your system volume problem tho.

You can also get Volume+ at the Google Play store, but the full version costs a couple bucks there vs. being free on the developer's own website.

It will get the stock ringtones (and whatever else you want, like call audio) to as loud as the phone can make them.

You may want to reconsider using the stock ringtones. They're just not loud enough, they don't conrast enough, and it's so easy to make/get ringtone mp3s elsewhere and crank up their volume with an audio editor. I found ringtones that actually sound like phones ringing, instead of playing a song, since a classic ring (old bell phone, more recent cordless phone, office desk phone, etc) stands out above background noise better.

New ringtones don't need to be placed there, you can just choose them from your music, at least with the stock ROM. Go to "Music", find the ringtone, long-press (or whatever it's called when you touch and hold), and a menu will come up; choose "Use as ringtone".

also, if you tell me one of the stock ringtones u would like to use, i will throw it in a professional audio editing program, boost the volume, and EQ it for u. it should make a huge difference, and im the master when it comes to audio editing ;-) let me know!

well, having to take the battery out is usually only due to the CPU being under a heavy load while overclocked too high. i usually dont run past 748mhz, just for that reason. theres not a HUGE difference between 748 and 787, and 748 seems a lot more stable under heavy loads. does it only freeze when overclocked?

cool, so that made it a lot easier to hear? unfortunately, no, u cant get that program for android. i used professional audio editing software to do that. u might b able to find a similar app tho, but u would have to do some digging. i gave the ringtone a very small volume boost, and tweaked the higher freqs a bit with a graphical EQ.

well, i mean, if u wanna either give me a list of stock ringtones u want adjusted, or if u wanna send me a zip file of all the ringtones u want tweaked, i dont mind doin it for u, zipping them back up, and sending u a sendspace link to download it from.whatever u wanna do, buddy! if there r custom ringtones u wanna tweak, u can send em to me... if u would just like me to tweak ALL of the stock ringtones, i could do that too... im here to help, just let me know!
