Android Question

I want separate volume control for ring and notification. Is it possible in v 4.4? Is Android coming out with update for that?

Not on Vanilla android, I'm afraid.

Bit of an oversight - I don't want notification sounds at night but on the other hand, I want the phone to ring at night.

I can't be the only person ..
