Hello all, let me introduce you to my new video game that just made it to google play.
Voxel Invaders is a game inspired by the classical Space Invaders where the goal is to destroy waves of aliens invading our solar system. Voxel Invaders is the sequel to Retrocosmos, the game released in 2011 by the same team of two French developers. It is based on the same concept: a retro-style arcade game with a fun gameplay and ultra simplified single-finger controls. However in Voxel Invaders all the graphics have been created based on 3D models constructed from hundreds of voxels (the 3D equivalent of a pixel), which gives the game a really unique visual style that oscillate between classical 2D retro and modern 3D. The game also features a lot of improvements compared to the previous version: much more stages (more than 160), many enemies and weapons and more varied gameplay.
"Voxel Invaders" is compatible with all phones and tablets running android 2.3 (Gingerbread) or newer which support Opengl ES2.
