for some reason when i go to the voxer homepage it doesnt recognize my device to download.. do i need an SD card?
Sometimes devs won't list a device as compatible if they haven't tested that device. You may want to hit the contact developer link and shoot them an email. Most devs I have done that with are really responsive and help get you up and running.

Are you signed in to Google on both your phone and the website? I know a lot of people who did not configure their Google accounts on their phones. Try to simply search for voxer from the Play Store app on your phone.
On a side note, I honestly can't see how an iPhone is easier. Its practically the same if you do it straight on the phone itself:
iPhone- open app store>search for app>hit download
Android- open playstore>search for app>hit download.

Yes I'm signed in on the play store and it still does not work. When I go to the play store and go to voxer it ask me for which phone. It does not give me that option. I click installed and still nothing.. I have no problem going into the market and installing other apps.....oh well I give this phone to my girlfriend and get a galaxy
