Solved (9/22/2013). The reason was not VPlayer, but another application with icon similar to VPlayer. Sorry. Vplayer is not dangerous.
I tried Vplayer on my Nexus 4, Android 4.1, it worked fine. It crashed once with a message "Application has crashed. An unexpected error..." ended with buttons "Report" and "Exit". I hit "report, next time did "exit", but this message displays again and again, each time I switch on the phone, or wake it up.
