OK, the question before the rant. I have been forced to flash my own ROM so I decided to try a custom one and ended up going for Sungsonic, which I quite like.
Unfortunately I used to use Sonicwall Mobile Connect to connect to our Firewall VPN for remoting in to the office.
Now when I try to connect I get a message:
__________
Now for how it happened.
I am in the UK and bought my Note 2 from valuebasket.com (Yes, I know that now).
Anyway, they shipped me a Kenyan version and I didn't realise until it died (could not even boot into recovery) and Samsung refused to service it as it as not an EU model. After about 2 and a half months of terrible support with them they finally sent a courier to get it sent to Hong Kong for repair.
It came back a week later badly flashed with a Chinese ROM, a flash counter of 9, loads of quirks and a default to Samsung Chinese IME Keyboard every reboot.
I thought it was then time to go with a custom one and do the rest myself, found the Note 2 toolkit for getting decent root and recovery tools (which is ace).

Does anyone know of a good Touchwiz based custom ROM that fully supports VPN features or how to add them to an existing installed ROM?The version of Android does not fully support the Android VPN features (com.android.vpndialogs.ConfirmDialog).
Please check with your device manaufacturer that you have the latest version of Android or report this issue to them.
If you are using a custom ROM, it does not fully support the Android VPN features.
