Based off of vs450pp1 and vs450pp2

This rom

Themed icons and updated apps
has an improved keyboard and newer lg launcher
gallery has been replaced as well as clock
dpi is set to 220 vs 240
it has the stagefright patch
and
its deodexed

Directions:
1. Boot into twrp and wipe system cache and data
2. Reboot recovery
3. Use twrp to flash zip!

I'm on stock vs450pp2 (the phone was already on vs450pp2, I didn't update), would it be safe to flash this on it?

yeah that's what i have, i just had to downgrade it to pp1 to get it rooted

I get the update binary script error trying to flash this one. On my old me 323 I had to go into a couple rom's updater scripts and manually remove a couple lines, is it something similar here?

Omg! I've tried several times to post and when I come back to the thread my post isn't here , wtf lol I'll try again.... I get update script error when I try to flash this Rom....ok this is nuts....I see the old post now

Sooo… no ideas about the updater binary script errors? I say errors because I get the same thing flashing the deodexed/debloated one too… if its just removing some lines from the script like I did before I just need to know where to start deleting lol Also if its doing it on the others could there be something wrong with my twrp? Or I'm missing something sh.t idk… wah wah wah… guess its back to flashing my lil galaxy exhibit for now

I am on VS450PP2. Rooted with the Towelroot with the mod strings settings and installed TWRP.

Trying to flash this I got updater binary script errors also. What I noticed when looking at the updater_script file is there was a lot of Symlink items that referred to files that where not anywhere to be found. like the one below

So I used the PP1 Stock Flashable in the main thread. Then used TowelRoot to get root again (didn't need to modify the mod strings) Installed the lg_w5c_twrp_286.apk to get the recovery back and I was able to flash this file with out any issues.


Now I just wish I could find a Lollipop Rom.

So did you have an unlocked boot loader and if so did you go back to locked or something ? Just wondering cuz that looked like the bumped twrp but I could be wrong.. I unlocked mine just cuz I never have unlocled one before and I can't get the damn laf. file to work again so that kdz he made that's recovery flashable will it reset the BL and DL mode? Just figured if theres a bumped twrp why unlock especially if its causing the flash errors somehow ..but idk I'm still fairly new to the more advanced sh.t lol

nope all I did was root, installed the apk and then TWRP. Rebooted to recovery to try and flash this rom and got the updater script errors.

after that I used the PP1 stock flashable in TWRP and then went back through the same process.

Well sh.t guys I'm at a loss here, I did everything and no matter what I get the update binary script errors... That sucks cuz its a killer phone and I miss all the Roms on my ms323

Is this rom any good for the battery life of the phone, or is the constantly draining charge more like a KitKat issue, or maybe a kernel issue?
Or maybe someone could recommend me a rom with better battery life performance.
