VW FamilyPlan questions

If you kids are on the same family plan they should have unlimited text (if you got the talk and text plan) so... why are you paying 2x $5 for the kids plan on top of that?

I made a mistake, they are not being charged. I looked at the wrong line..

Thanks for the clarification. I knew that VZW didn't offer unlimited SMS for $5, I went through the entire rigmarole with them when I was deciding on the DROID from Oct 31 through Nov 5 - I called them at least 6 times in that time, and I always got the same response - $5 = 250 SMS on plans without SMS included.

You are right, I looked again and saw that i was looking at the wrong line on the charges.

An app called aSMS allows for free sending os texts, however receiving still cost.
GV is free to send but you must receive response by email for it to be also free. You just have GV forwarded to your gmail instead of texting or phone. It is quick and effective but no pics can be sent or received
