VZ Navigator for Android?

Yes, I'm fully aware of Google Maps, but....

I really like the VZ Navigator. Especially that they will send directions to your phone after calling information. I see it is available on the Devour, but since I won't be buying that phone, is it available for other Verizon Android phones?

I'd love to have it on my Incredible. Is there a way if by chance it isn't installed?

I liked VZ nav too, but trust me. After a few times running Google Nav you won't miss VZ Nav. You also won't miss having to pay 10 bucks a month for it ;)

But to answer your question...No not at this time.

Cool. Thank you for your input!

I hadn't even really thought about it until today when using it. It's free on my plan, so I got into the habit of using it.

Since it is on the Devour, I wonder if there is a way to pull it from there and put it on the Inc. Hmmm.

head to the devour forums see if someone will pull the .apk for you and try? Honestly I have heard zero talk about this since google nav is free, I personally never used VZW's nav but google's is very functional, and VZW's would have to do other stuff to me that I can't discuss on the forums for 10 bucks a month ;)

I wouldn't be so sure of that. On the equipment guide for the Incredible, VZW Nav was listed as "available through Android Market."

Third bullet up from the bottom, left column.

I was wondering about this as well. I'd rather use the Google nav but was wondering if the one on the Incredible is the same as on the Moto Droid with turn by turn voice. Does anybody know if this is the case or if it only has onscreen directions without voice?
