Help (VZW) Anyone getting reboots

I have not used hot spot. However would it be ok for me to move this to the VZW G Nex thread? You may get more feedback in there.
 
Yes, I get this issue sometimes, often after long stints on hotspot using lots of data (which actually seems like a 'normal' behavior, if you ask me)... that's a lot to ask for from a smartphone... I'd be curious to see if anyone doesn't get reboots after using several gigabytes worth of data...

I turn hotspot on/off frequently and it usually doesn't reboot. I get about 1 reboot every other day or so, and thats with fairly high use of the phone.

now if you are only using hotspot briefly, and not doing much else on the phone, and still getting reboots, I might worry about that. But that's just my 02.
 
Two reboots in the last week; the only two I've gotten in the month I've had the phone. Neither were while or after using hotspot, however.
 
I bumped the Google Music widget today while streaming Slacker. After a few bars of the Google Music song the phone went black for 10-15 seconds and rebooted affer making a popping sound in the headphones.

Hmmm interesting. I was on a phone call and heard a pop, leading right away to a reboot...
 
I HAD an issue with reboots, but uninstalling Lightflow and a factory reset seems to have solved them. Havent had one in several weeks now.
 
when i was away for training I used my hotspot feature on my verizon GNEX a lot but almost everytime it rebooted after turning off hotspot and sometimes even during using it. I haven't tried it lately but it was a really big annoyance since the wifi at the hotel was super slow. I may try removing lightflow and then try again. i also had WORDS WITH FRIENDS and noticed reboots when using that too but ive already removed that app.
 
I installed the stock 4.0.4 rom a few weeks back and it cured the reboots for me so far. :)

Before the 4.0.4 rom I had the stock 4.0.2 rom and was getting reboots about 3 times a week.:(
 
I'm bumping this to see if anyone has identified or fixed the problem. My phone had been rebooting on its own but wasn't a major issue. Today it rebooted twice.

I'm running 4.0.4 and had been using the hotspot (wifi tether) just before the second reboot. I'm not sure if I was using it during or before the 1st reboot.

If it keeps up like this (2x a day) it will get annoying.
 
I get random reboots and never use the hotspot app. Mine usually come while typing on my SwiftKey keyboard. I have also seem it do it randomly whole I'm not using it and the screen is off. It sits on my desk in front of me so I see it go into the boot loop occasionally.

Both odd and annoying.
