VZW Note 3 no network available?

Like others since the last VZW update my Note 3 has poor service, i get dropped calls, no network available etc

Calling VZW gets you know where it's always the same answer reboot your device remove sim.

I've had my Note 3 since release day and it used to work great. It is stock and not rooted. I used to always root my phones but didn't see a need to root the note 3 until now.

Has anyone having the same issues tried going back to a older modem/radio? I think you have to go back to the older version on android as well to use the older radios, i can not remember how it worked.

I'm on NC4 and want to root and go back to MJE.

Do the roms include the modem/radio?

There is a 4.3 rom i want to go to and it says it's based off VRUBMJE. So would i need to flash the rom and then the radio?

I used to get the loss of service bug (no signal after a day or two, needing battery pull to fix) but after I rooted and ROMed my phone (which required flashing the NC2 firmware in ODIN) I stay at one bar but never have signal or data issues. It always shows one bar but seems to get solid reception. That might be the ROM.
