When does Verizon start the online orders? I still can't get the TB to show up when I try to upgrade my line....
 
you figured they would at least update their website to reflect the release date and press statement....

nope! still asks you to sign up for more info!
 
According to the press release, looks like we can order online starting on the 17th, so I guess with overnight shipping we CAN have at our house by friday if we order on-line.

I'm going this route as I hate lines.
 
I literally just called the corporate store down the road from my work and set up an appointment (AKA reserved my phone and a time to get it) for Thursday after I get off work. They said store pricing will be released tomorrow and he said it is usually $299.99. I said the news.vzw site said it was $249.99, and he just said that they won't know for sure for sure until tomorrow. Awesome!

WOW. Seems VZW has taken a bad vibe launch effort and turned it into absolute gold. Who du' thunk it :confused:

Smart move VZW! The device will prime folks for 4G (through the year) and reward the early adopters :)
 
Mobile Hotspot will be included through May 15 for no additional charge. After May 15, customers may choose to activate Mobile Hotspot for $20 for 2 GB of data per month.

Does this mean that it will remain free for those buying prior to May 15 or you will only get two months free of Hotspot

I read it as will be free for two months.
