Root waiting for device

Hi there,

Having a little difficulty doing this, I got past the missing Adbwinapi.dll, only for message saying "waiting for device" yet it is plugged in, and I am able to transfer stuff to and from but not in the hboot screen, what am I missing here, how do I get it to see my phone?

ok, got passed that, but now I am stumped, my phone says unlocked, but it also says:
CID incorrect!
Update Fail!
Press <POWER> to reboot.

Where do I go from here, found nothing on google at all?
