Wake Android With Home Button

I am a new user of the Motorola Atrix 2 and have a quick question:

Is there a way - an app - to wake up the phone | screen by pressing the "home" button instead of the power button?

The only reason I ask is I always worry about wearing out physical buttons - maybe a bit paranoid

I don't think so. Even Widgetlocker, which has the option of easy wake needs hardware buttons. Main reason is that capacitive buttons are disabled when the screen is turned off. It would waste more battery to have those buttons always on.
