Is it just me? Or has the GPS 7.5.71 update caused our phones to go rogue constantly scanning for wearable devices?

I dunno about scanning for wearable device, but I can't keep wifi off. It turns itself on like every 3 minutes now. I would sure like to fix that. It's causing a major issue in battery life
