Wake up from sleep takes long time

--phone goes to sleep
--display goes totally dark
--press POWER button
--no beep, or vibrate or any sign
--takes about a minute than some animation shows up
--takes another minute until main screen shows up

is this how it suppose to work ?
2 minutes to wake up ?

This is not normal. Try performing a Wipe Cache Partition (google it for instructions). For me this resolved some little annoying issues I was having with my phone. Good luck.

That sounds odd.

AS was mentioned ... do a Wipe Cache Partition and if you still have a problem boot into Safe Mode.

It almost sounds like you have an added app that is causing the problem.

Already did FACTORY RESET.......no change
maybe I am pushing POWER too long ?

can somebody describe it what exactly it suppose to happen when POWER pressed to wake ?

just press it, dont hold it! only hold it down if your turning it off.

I understand, just push button momentarily
should it give any indication, that POWER button was pressed: beep, vibrate, etc....?
and the screen should wake up immediately at that moment ?

Quickly pressing the power button to wake/turn the screen on will not cause it to vibrate or beep. The screen should turn on instantly.

read this post,press your button,screen goes off. press again, screen lights up back at this post.
no buzzing, vibrating or anything else on mine when I do it!

i had issues after marshmallow update but they seem to have been ironed out.
these phones are top notch for the money. cant understand why such a simple thing is causing you trouble unless youve just been unfortunate and bought a dud.
