Help Wake up lag?

Hey guys, my Note 3 suddenly developed a wake up lag of about 2 seconds. It used to go to the lock screen instantly, now there's an annoying delay before it gets there. Any ideas on how to fix this? It's strange, I hadn't made any changes to my phone. One minute it was perfect, the next minute it lagged, and it's been this way for several hours.

Just a question: when was the last time you rebooted or powered down the phone? If it's been awhile, your phone will eventually bog down.

Thanks for the welcome Chief! That was the problem, I just needed to power down my phone. When I turned it back on, it worked perfectly again.

Now back to enjoying the awesomeness of the Note 3!
