Help Waking to MAIN home screen

I noticed recently that whenever i swipe to unlock the phone it goes to the last screen i was on rather than always going to the home screen. I'm talking about double tap to wake the screen (or power button), then swipe the lock icon upwards.

I feel like this changed after the recent OTA update. Anyone else notice this?

Kind of annoying to me, because I put my most frequently used apps on the Home Screen for a reason.

Oh and yes I know the motion unlock gestures. Here's what mine do:

Swiping left for me goes to the "widgets panel" which is always the left most home screen page.
Swiping right opens blink feed by default, but i don't use blink feed, so it goes to the last home screen page you were on (as opposed to THE home screen)
Swiping up goes last screen (app or home screen page) the phone had up before sleeping

None of these default straight to THE home screen.

Um no, swiping from right to left brings up your home page. The OTA didn't change anything. You need to set a screen as the home screen. When you swipe from rright to left that screen will appear. Swiping from bottom to top has always taken me back to the last thing I was doing or app I was using.

Um no, Swiping from right to left brings up your "Widgets panel page" or whatever, which is alway the left most home screen page. I have my MAIN home screen page (clicked "set as home") to the middle of 3 total home screen pages. The only time the phone ever opens up to the MAIN home screen page is if i had it on the main home screen page before it was put to sleep.

I can take video to document this if you guys really think i'm just making it up.

It's confusing because the settings call it "widgets panel page" which I have no idea what that is. I can confirm that if your home page is set to any page besides the leftmost, then a right to left swipe does not in fact open the home page. Seems like a bug coupled with a bad description in settings.

I follow what you guys are saying now. Maybe it's setup to go where most of your on screen apps are located. Isn't that the page peopl utilize as their home screen?

Screen apps? Do you mean widgets? If so, i only have widgets on one screen which yes i have set as my Home Screen. But as you can see in the video, it doesn't wake to that screen unless it was the last screen on when it went to sleep.

When I swipe right to left home screen always comes up.I tried setting each panel to "Home",locking while on app screen etc.Issue is not there for me.

No, I meant what I said, which is apps. If you have most of your apps on a certain screen, isn't that usually the home screen for most people? I haven't tried to move my apps to a different screen but I'm lazy.
