This is mentioned in other parts of the forum but I didn't see it here.

That just goes to show that you need to treat apps like any website you would buy from. I see some developers write descriptions that are either in poor English, generally incoherent, or in teenager speak. Those don't get my traffic. There are so many apps to choose from, why take the risk?

I have to admit though, I tend to only find out about apps through this forum. If the app page looks good and enough people use it and recommend it, I'll consider it.
