Help wallpaper from gallery

hi,

i have downloaded some 720 x 1280 images i'd like to use as wallpapers, but when i open them up through the gallery/wallpaper menu, the sizing thing won't let me select more than say 1/3 of the image.

what am i doing wrong?

For some reason the phone does that.download. Wallpaper wizardri and stretch to landscape and it'll work.
