Wallpaper Help, please!

My issue is i have a picture that i really want to use as my wallpaper but no matter what size i make it for some reason it makes me pick only a portion of the pic. This results in a distorted image and i can't get the whole image on my phone. Can anyone please help me figure this out? Heres the pic

IF you are tying for a wallpaper for the home screen the proper resolution is 640x480 which that pic is not and cant be. If you were going for lockscreen i think the resolution is 320x480.
