Wallpaper image

I have an image in Gallery that is 480 x 800 pixels; the same size as the screen?

When I try to make it wallpaper I get a square box that is not the size or shape of the screen.

How do make this size image to wallpaper?

Wallpaper selector expects wide screen picture (your's is 480 pixels wide) and adjusts the height to it (to approx. 400 pixels), if I understood it right.
Wallpapers for Blade should be 960x800, 2times horizontal size. How many homescreens do you use? I use 3, on leftmost screen first half of wallpaper is displayed, on middle one the middle part (25 to 75%) and on the rightmost the right half of wallpaper is displayed, but it's similar with more homescreens.
