Help Wallpaper in Portrait???

When i first got my 10.1 the first thing i changed was the wallpaper. I have just changed it to a stock one (the water splash) and when i turn it to portrait it fills the WHOLE screen. All my other wallpapers dont do this??? They leave black lines on the top and the bottom. The resolution of my walls are 1280x800. Why do only the stock ones fill the whole screen on portrait? Is there a way around this???
