Help wallpaper issues

I have been looking for wallpaper & downloaded an app with HD wallpapers. Thought it would look great, whenever I choose one, my phone wants me to crop it every time. It ruins the aesthetics of the wallpaper completely. How do I avoid the cropping issue?

Would love to hear the answer. Believe it's either an ICS/JB issue or screen resolution. I get this with Wallbase as well.
