Wallpaper Problem

Good afternoon,

Please excuse me if this topic has been driven into the ground. I have not gotten through the whole site, but did read some of the stickies and new posts and did not see my topic.

I have just gotten Huawei M865 with Android 2.3.5 running. I put the stock wallpaper up and got tired of that right away. Downloaded some WP's but when I load it up, it does several things...it moves me to the left-most page where there is nothing installed. That is irritating, as I have to keep moving to the stock page, which is the center page, I think. They also seem to be so large, they sprall through all the pages.

I moved everything to the left page, but when I load a new screen, there is no telling what it will do. The only constant seems to be that it is way larger than it looks on the download page. Is this normal or have I activated some switch or what? Any info would be helpful.

Again, sorry if this topic is like nails on a chalkboard for some of you.

Hmm.

The screen resolution of your phone is 320x480 .
So ideal wallpaper size for your phone will be 640x480 and it's multiples (1280x960,1920x1440 and so on)
If the resolution is not as above ,the wallpaper centres off 640x480 pixels to the home screen giving an enlarged view of wallpapers .

Ideally ,using a middle click/home button will get you back to your default home screen(which in this case may be your centre screen).
So try clicking the home button after selecting a wallpaper .
