wallpaper question

what's the point of finding a nice wallpaper to put on when it's gonna be covered with widgets and apps? i find myself not putting anything on home screen just to see the wallpaper

I guess a lot of it has to do with personal preference and your device. I have 7 home screens, so have spread out my apps and widgets among them. The majority of my wall paper is still showing on each screen (I also don't put all my apps on the screens, the drawer works just fine for me for a large percentage of my apps), so for me it IS nice to have a fun wallpaper in the background. But, if you have only one home screen, and dont' like the "cluttered" look of all those icons, then I guess I could see your point. Honestly, that doesn't bother me a bit, but ymmv.

i too have 7 homescreens and the wallpaper pans the entire 7. i left the last 6 pages blank

point is i have to leave home screens blank in order to see my wallpaper

Is that necessarily bad? There's 7 screens to help with that if you just NEED to see your wallpaper.

On a side note, when I download a new wallpaper from wherever, it always blows it up/zooms in when it puts it on my background. When I try to edit it, I can't make the box any bigger to show more of the wallpaper. Anyone have any clue what I'm talking about/have a fix for that?
