I just gotta Droid 2 and love it so far! A lot better than my Eris I previously owned. I have been trying to use my own pics as a background and I can't get them sized correctly. It doesn't let me use the hole picture it only allows me to choose a certain section of the pic and when I do that it screws the entire picture up.

So do I have to edit the pic in paint or something for the right size or something? I just can't figure it out.

Yes, pixels. I'd suggest you re-size (not necessarily just crop) the picture you want to use before you load it onto your phone. If you're trying to use a picture from your phone camera, you might want to upload it to your PC and edit it there.
