Hi to all..i'm just new to this OS...after being on symbian for the longest time...got myself a spica, samsung galaxy i5700..

Just want to ask a few basic q's:...

1. where will i put my downloaded wallpapers in card? what directory so that it'll be seen when together with the default walls?

2. where will i put my ringtones in the card? what directory sa that it\ll be seen when i change my text and call tones...

3. what's the resolution of the wallpapers that spica can handle?? i downloaded 640x480,..will that be ok?

Pls advice to these basic questions...tnx!

\Ringtones for ringtones (phone calls) and \Notifications for notifications. Many people place these folders under a \Media or \Media\Audio but it's really the folder name that matters.

Not sure for the Spica but 640x480 doesn't sound right. Consider that unless you only have one home screen that your wallpaper needs to be wider than your actual screen resolution to accommodate the panning with the additional home screens.

EDIT: Guess I'm wrong. Don't forget that Google is out there (how I found this):
