Wallpapers & Icons & Docks

So with this sexy new resolution, will all of our wallpapers, docks, and icons for our homescreens be obsolete?

I have so many custom icons and docks that I like to use with LauncherPro, and I'll be really upset if I can't use the wallpapers either.

I'm rambling now, so I'll stop. I think the answer to my question is simply yes, but let's see.

Thanks

Here are some 720p wallpapers for you to use: 1280x720 HD Wallpapers - 720p Wallpapers | WallpaperFX

Not 100% sure if those will work with wallpaper scrolling, but its worth a shot. After I grab breakfast and check my email I can see if I can find those wallpapers pulled from the ICS build. Those wallpapers will be the exact resolution we need a wallpaper to be to account for wallpaper scrolling throughout the home screens. Icons on the other hand I am not sure if they changed or not -- they used to be 96px for HD screens, I think.

I'll do some looking and get back to you if no one else replies with solid information.

I believe the wallpaper size we'll be looking for will be ?x1280 since the vertical resolution is 1280. A 1280x720 would be too small and have to be stretched to fit the screen of the GNex. Just something I noticed when I was doing some preliminary searches for wallpapers.

Okay just found the wallpapers pulled by P3Droid from the ICS leak he got. Looks like we can't get solid information from that since those images are 960x853.

We wont be using the entire vertical resolution since .3" will be reserved for system buttons (home, back, etc.) The actual resolution of homescreen space will most likely be what P3Droid released (960x853)

Even if you take out the pixels used for the buttons we're still looking at 1184ish vertical resolution. I'm not claiming to be an expert here but something is adding up if you ask me. I'm still leaning towards what I said earlier.
