Walmart Galaxy S2 and Wifi and Skype?

Considering other carriers have the S2 for a little less. But the T-Mobile one is what I'd go with too, if I was going with an S2.

Fwiw, I agree with your price quotes almost completely; you can get low end androids for as little as $60 on up. For $150 you can get a decent phone damn near mid range. For $200 you can get a solid mid range in the L9. Yeah maybe it's not at the high high end of the mid range, but it's solidly mid range and competitive with the performance of an S2 or Galaxy Nexus.

some of you miss the point selling point on the walmart s2..... you buy, do like me and take it to t-mo value plan contract, and save 50$ month for 24 months. I'm saving 1200$. I did it only for the wifi calling feature (which is cool, because if minutes are supposed to subtract when I use it, then someone made a boo boo, they don't subtract from mine). But the money I save MORE than pays for my home wifi. So the way I look at it, TMobile gives me A GREAT PHONE, wifi calling, unlimited data, all for under 80$ month. Oh yeah, corporate partner here. And if i look at it my way- they pay for my wifi.... how generous! forgot- it's a family plan so it's 2 lines. eat that staright talk and solavei! I tried strait talk, i'd rather use progresso soup cans....

You always win with prepaid. On those days when you dont go over the mins, its $ in your pocket. But sometimes u do go over the 100 mins, then just pay when you want it.

Talking on phone is luxury to me. I can wait until I get into office or use my high speed internet at home for enless free talking.

I dont like to waste money. I am going to be the richest man in the cemetary.

I can't agree that you always win with prepaid. It does tend to be less expensive for an individual plan, but for a family it can be cheaper on a contract plan -- such as the T-Mobile Value plan. It often takes a bit of research to find the best deal for you.

Your minute aren't subtracted because you are on a contract plan. Op wanted a prepaid plan.

Galaxy s2 is a better phone than the nexus 4 to the eyes of a lot of people.
Nexus 4:
16gb max memory, not expandable
No removable battery
No option of otg

16gb limit not a problem. Use ftp server on your home computer from home n get things on the fly.

No removable battery not a problem. I have charger in my car n everywhere.

Dont what is otg.

A lot of people? Like 3? I can maybe understand someone choosing an S3 over an N4 because of storage and battery. Can't agree with it on any level, but at least the specs are a lot closer. But choosing an S2 over an N4? You'd need your head examined. IMHO.

You wanna spend the same amount of money on a much older, MUCH less powerful phone just to use it as a permanent storage site for a million files for some strange reason, be my guest. Don't hurt me none.
