I suppose for some the lack of 4G on the X+ can be a problem and I can't understand why they launched it without, other than that it looks great.

Depends where you are. Here in the UK the LTE variant isn't available, just the 64GB non-LTE.As per the spec One X+ has 4G.

Every aspect. The phones are heavy, hotter, covers are harder to remove, if at all. Materials are made from cheap metal rather than high grade plastic Samsung uses. HTC used to be market leader in Android phones, now you don't really hear about them. They shares have dropped significantly.
