Want to hand write in forms on android --- Possible?

I am a mental health therapist and I have to fill out notes for every client, then scan the form into my computer, and shred the handwritten form. In my fantasies my tablet would make it possible for me to have my form (that is several pages) on my tablet, fill out the form on the tablet, save it to my clients file (a pdf would be fine) and eliminate paper all together. Any ideas if this is possible? I know I could use a note taking app to just write the notes, but I also need to be able to fill out the form and then save it to an electronic file. I don't need it to recognize my handwriting.

Thank you for any help you can provide!

i haven't tested this but what about those PDF editing apps? Can you scan the form into a PDF and then edit the PDF via those apps on your tablet?

edit: I dont actually see an app to edit PDF's (only searched for a quick minute) but you can edit DOC files. Can you scan the form as a DOC and edit it via 'QuickOffice' or another similar app?

You should be able to use a .doc, in whatever office suite you have or are willing to buy, and have it save the .doc to .pdf when you're finished. I like Documents To Go, but there are others. There may be a way to get the forms as .pdf files and then edit the blocks, but I've never tried that.

After some experimentation, I'm afraid I was wrong. The office apps in Android are rudimentary at best, far from having the capabilities of even cheap free programs on a PC. I wasn't able to save a document in a different format, nor edit a .pdf file at all. I tried QuickOffice, Documents To Go, and Polaris Office, and none will do what you want. My only thought is to save the .doc files to a USB drive or SD card, and open them on a PC and save as .pdf. Not optimal, but I don't see an easier way. Maybe in a few years, but right now all available Android apps that I can find are just too limited to be really useful, even on a tablet. I have an Asus Transformer Prime, with keyboard dock, which works as well as a laptop, but the software simply isn't up to the job.
