Hello, i rooted my GS2 yesterday night. I still have stock everything. I Used a app that just rooted my phone and installed SuperSU. Now i rooted to kind of unlock wifi tethering, i read around online that ICS 4.0.4 blocks this on sprint network. Now i'm scared to install custom roms and Kernels because i going to brick my phone. Happened to me once already (Samsung prevail) and i don't have another $400 to spare. I Adlai read that custom roms and Kernels can blost (forgot the spelling of the word) 4G, something i use all the time. Can y'all please help me with this? I'm open for suggestions.

try the WiFi tether for root users, you can get it from the play-store.

It's not working for me. When it sets the ad-hoc mode it fails.

this phone is easy to flash custom roms to theyre even one click odin installers. i would suggest odin and mobile odin you are rooted mobile odin will flash for you. read up on this. selfelevated put up a wonderful one stop shop. start there and it will lead you to your research

Yes i know this. I Just was reviewing, but will those roms take away my 4G speeds?
