Wanting to get into photography

I took a photography class a few years ago. The only thing I really learned was to start taking pictures you like, and look for a quality that they all have. That is your style. Most of my images have lines in them, something breaking up the images. I never noticed it at first but the professor did.

you can probably find some photography classes on craigslist or your local community college. I have a good friend that is a photographer (<<see avatar) once you get some experience under your belt you should try out a technique called "free-lensing" - it's when you actually remove the lens and hold it in front of the camera at different points so only a certain portion of the picure is in focus.
