Root Wanting to root but a few questions before

Hey guys new member here. I've had a few android phones and well I guess I want to root my inspire to get the freedom I want out of it. I have a few questions first. After rooting the phone does the inspires DolbySound still remain or does it dissapear or do i have to install something to get it back? Will the built in FM tuner work with the rooted OS? If my screen breaks will I be able to unroot the phone still without needed the touch screen? Lastly, which root method should I use? I am running the 2.3.3 android OS. Thanks for reading and your time guys.

The sound will still be there and also the fm tuner will work just fine. If your screen breaks you can unroot without needing the touch screen as far as i know. And for the root method for you, look a few post down for the thread i started and click the link xda simple root. it will take about 10 to 15 mins. You only have do a few clicks and your phone will rebot and it will look just as it does now with htc sense and everything working fine. It will also get rid all the bloatware from atnt and help speed it up. Its a very easy and safe procces. Any problems you may pm me and im sure everyone else on the board would love to ansawer your questions.
 
Thank you for replying so quickly Drizzy. I would like to use the "Android Revolution HD" ROM though. Will the simple root allow me to use this ROM? What are your opinions of this ROM and any advice you can give me?

yep this root will allow you to flash any custom rom. I havent used the rom myself, I perfer cleardriod, but from what ive read its very smooth and is all around a great stable rom. And as far as any advice id say when you go to root read the instructions well ( its called Effen manuel ) and take your time even tho it is very simple. Trust me once your done you will see just how easy it was and know if you were to run into any problems dont worry anything can pretty much be fixed easiley.
