Wanting to switch

Hey everyone!
I had a LG G5 for a while but the power button and fingerprint sensor went out on the device. I went through AT&T and got a replacement. The same thing happened to the second G5! I was very frustrated so I ended up getting an iPhone 7 Plus. It's a great phone but I'm tired of iOS and have always like the LG and android software. I want to get the G6 but I am hesitant because of my past problems, Have they fixed that problem? Are there any other issues with the phone I should know about?
Thanks!

I've only had it for a couple weeks, but I haven't had any of those problems. For what it's worth, I also had a G5 without any problems.

Awesome! Thank you for the replies guys! I think I may have had a couple of lemons. It was so frustrating for me during that time and I wasn't happy with LG. I think the G6 is a great looking phone and sounds like its one of the best. I'm gonna go ahead an pick one up tomorrow. Hopefully third time is a charm! ;) I have a feeling that its gonna be a good phone. Thanks again!

I had the Note 5, it got wet so I replaced it with an S7. I had that 2 weeks because it sucked so bad and replaced that with the G6. I have to say it is the best phone I've ever had.

I'm coming from a Nexus 6 and so far am pretty happy with it. I think LG made a good move in getting back to basics with the G6. It's a phone without too many bells and whistles but has everything you should need in a very nice form factor.

I am not sure if I want to use this with a case or not, but am currently trying out a few slim cases to see if they bulk it up too much.
