What's this mean?
It still works but should I search a newer version of SuperSU?
Cheers

Just realized it seems to say im on SU, not SuperSU as I thought so should I just go to ChainFire's SuperSU site and flash the latest zip?
Thanks ;)

What exactly isn't compatible? I had a problem with an update to Supersu. I have a rooted Nexus 4 and at the time was using a stock 4.2 rom. Supersu asked for an update, I did update, and it crashed the phone, possibly since I was using 4.2. There was no warning about which version of Android I had on the phone. TB didn't request it.

Now I'm seeing the same warning as OP on CM 11. I'm rather leery of installing Supersu since the crash. I'd like to know what exactly isn't compatible. If it's for coders and developers only, should I bother? I'm only backing up.

I get that error the first time I run TiBU after doing a clean ROM install (which bundles koush's superuser instead of SuperSU). I tick the "ignore" box and go on with my life. Backups and restores all work flawlessly anyway (as long as I grant su permissions to TiBU), and I prefer the OSS Superuser over Chainfire's SuperSU for most things.

I didn't clean out 4.2, I let CM do it - is Koush's SU still included? TB does have permisssions enabled.
Thanks

Cheers mate and I tend to ignore it to with no issues
