i know opera is one of those love/hate things. that's for another thread.
for those of us who do use it there is an update @ the play store that is a completely new and updated version that is HORRIBLE and probably will crash repeatedly if you try to use it on your elite. it seems to be made for newer versions of android.
you can read about it on the interwebz but to make a long story short opera used to be its own platform now it's using the chrome platform. it's basically an interface over the stock android browser and not it's own entity as it used to be.
if, like me, you've already downloaded it and are now kicking yourself... you can reinstall the old version... google search for opera 12.1.4. which was the last version before the revamp...
if you have a nandroid back-up somewhere you can backup your phone and get all your bookmarks etc.
