Warp afer 60 days

Just a little background... This was my first 'modern' smartphone and I've had it for approximately 60 days. All in all, it's been rather predictable and for the most part, all of my experiences have been positive. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that those experiences wouldn't have been as good had I not found this forum.

But I have the following questions:

1) Is there a substantial difference between b07 and b08 versions of the firmware, so much so that I would want to update?

2) I generally recharge the phone when I go to bed, but the odd ball thing is that the battery indicator shows the phone as charging, but it never reaches 100%. If I hook it up a second time (to the same charger) or to a car charger, it will eventually get back to 100% within a few minutes or a couple hours, depending on how hard I used it.

3) There seems to be mixed reviews on whether or not battery calibration is worth the effort, so this question is directed to the people who've really ripped these things apart and know them inside out & backwards. Is it worth it?

Finally, thanks to Knoxville for the videos and the genius developers who developed the root packages so quickly and made them easily implemented.

i updated from 07 to 08 i would say if your happy with the performance of your phone, do not update it.
i did not see a major difference in phone even tho im sure there was some change, my phone works great under 08 but then again it was great under 07 as well.
i would wait for the next major upgrade if any arrives.

I got my ZTE Warp just 3 weeks ago, when got broken my HTC EVO 4G.
I got it with latest B08 update so cannot talk about any B07 experience. I rooted it at second day, then installed Titanium Backup and restored all my apps that I had on my EVO. I have no complains, my rooted ZTE Warp works just perfect, I am using same Seidio case of my broken EVO because both phones have same size.
ZTE Warp works faster than EVO 4G, maybe because have 4GB internal memory and EVO just 1, but Warp have 5 MP principal camera and EVO 8 MP principal plus 1.3 MP front camera, other diference is EVO have HDMI port.

I have to admit, wading through all of the garbage and smokescreens thrown up by the carriers, the decision to go with the warp was actually rather agonizing. The wife wanted an ultra and suggested I get one too, but there was just something about the warp that stood out, when stacked against similar droid based phones (contract or non-contract).

Since there seems to be big changes on the OS front, I wonder how ZTE will handle those of us who purchased product early, if they will at all?

I was having lots of random rebooting, lock ups, etc. so I updated to B08 but am still having the same issues intermittantly. I love the look & feel of the phone but am quite frustrated with the locking up. I've had it lock up while trying to take a call. Errr. I've tried lots of different things to stop this but no luck yet.

BoostBuddy i know we are having different issues some more lucky than others but if you dont mind me asking have you tried running phone with just stock settings and apps to see if it locks up....................
if youve tried all this and then some it may just be as emanuelrv suggested and warp exchange may be in your future.
