Help Warranty question

I've got an indulge r910, but it's second hand (couldn't argue with a free android phone) and as some of you might have read on the data thead, I have the 4g bug, and as much as I've tried and tried to find a solution, I think I might end up getting another phone. As it's second hand, metro's warranty is void, and they won't do a damn thing for me. My only avenue for getting the phone replaced is samsung. Does anyone have any experience dealing with them? I don't have the original reciept for it and I really can't afford another phone. I know it's still under warranty, as doing the rtn dialer code returns that the phone was purchased in september. I'm wondering what kind of proof i can send to samsung so that they'll repair or replace my phone. Any help would be appreciated, as I'm kind of in a pickle here

I had a warranty issue with Samsung a while back and they didn't ask me for the receipt, just the phone's numbers (MEID etc) I ended up convincing metro to replace my phone but in your case Samsung might replace it but you will be out of your phone a minimum of like 4-6 weeks 1-2 for them to receive it 1-2 for diagnostics and repair and another 1-2 weeks for you to get it back once repaired. Is what they told me.

Thanks. How did you convince metro? The local guys here are complete Morons. It's. Like they've been told to find a way to not service the customer at all costs

I feed them a sob story (it was true) but I also bought my phone new in box. Mine involved multiple trips to the metro pcs store and a chat log of my dealings with Samsung. In the chat long samsung said my phone was defective. My issue was a crappy gps chip, but after getting the new phone and still having the problem with the new one i bought an in car gps unit for traveling any large amount of distance. Also make sure to try another rep from the store, the first person I dealt with gave me the attitude she was over worked and underpaid and just wanted to get me out so her day would end (Weekend late afternoon). The next person I talked to during the day (not a weekend) was very helpful and understanding and was willing to work with me
