A wild cast symbol appeared.


Maybe I'm living under a rock and just don't realize it... But I didn't see mention of this in any blogs or on the forums. I just updated to 4.4.3 the other day. But I didn't see anything about this mentioned. BTW, it isn't working. It got my hopes up for nothing.

Hmm, no idea. I just updated my Moto G to 4.4.3 and updated the Chromecast app, and it still doesn't show up. But, it really could be since I'm not nearby my Chromecast.
It's actually at work. If I get a second today I'll see if once CC is turned on, it pops up in toggles.

I did some digging around on reddit, and it's definitely a half-baked chromecast feature. It was detecting my chromecast. It looks like Google is working on it for a future release perhaps, and it even says 'beta feature' next to the name of my Chromecast. I'm guessing it's something that will come after I/O. It seems that it pops up randomly for some users based on the chromecast apps they've used recently. It's already gone away for me.

they other day.. I was watching some youtube on my PS3.. and I started to play with my Note3. it asked me if I want to mirror what I see on my Note3 to the PS3.
I confirmed.. and it worked!!
