Hello, it's iMario999

I was previously an iPhone fan but not anymore. I never had the chance to get an iPhone, but I have an iPod Touch for 3 years now. I really loved iOS and the iDevices. But when my father bought the Xperia X10, I started to like Android. Now Android is my favorite.

So 2 days ago, I bought the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc. I LOVE IT. LOVE LOVE. Lol. So yeah, I'm a new fan to Android and I joined this forum to learn more about Android. By the way, I still love the iPhone, nothing against it.

I only have one problem now, to get WiFi at my school, I need to connect with a HTTP Proxy, and I am unable to do so with my phone. Any one knows how?

Thanks,
iMario999.

Not sure how to connect to HTTP Proxies.

But welcome to Android. I just switched back to android after 6 months of an Iphone 4. I had never had IOS devices. Now, I wont ever have an IOS device again. :)

Welcome to Android Forums!

If you go to menu>settings>wireless & networks>Wifi Settings, then press menu>advanced, you can set your proxy settings there.

You can find more information about your phone in Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc - Android Forums.

Thanks for the help. I already tried, and I couldn't find settings for it.

Take a look at what I am talking about (was using this with my iPod)
